Set up Licenses/Contracts & Pricing

What are Licenses in BrowseBeats? Licenses are the pricing structure and contracts attached to each one of your Tracks. You will need to customize your Licenses and Pricing before you add Tracks. You can create and customize as many Licenses as you need. Create Licenses From the Studio Dashboard, Navigate to Licenses & click "New License" Enter a name, and default amount (e.g. $50). You can adjust licenses later and your tracks will be updated automatically. Select a license type: Non-exclusive allows multiple artists to license this track. Exclusive licenses remove the track from further sale once purchased. "Mark as default" - enabling this option means that when you create a new Track, this license will already be selected for you within Pricing. Usage Rights This tab includes all the contractual options you can customize for your contract, including Distribution Copies Allowed, Publishing Percentage, Audio streams and more. These numbers are up to you, and you can always consult with an Entertainment Attorney if you need more help customizing your contracts. You can leave any Usage Rights input field empty for Unlimited Contract Template We provide templates for Non-Exclusive and Exclusive Licenses, but you can customize them further, or replace them entirely if you wish. At the bottom of the page, you will see a full list of Contract Variables that you can insert into the template, and their values/meaning. Downloadable Files Enable or disable the deliverable files that you want to include with this License option. The file types are MP3, WAV and .ZIP (for Track Stems).
